Ronald Joseph "Butch" Defeo Jr. is an American mass murderer who was convicted of the 1974 murders of his parents and siblings in their 112 Ocean Avenue home in Amityville, Long Island, New York. The case inspired the book and movie, The Amityville Horror. Defeo died on March 12, 2021 while serving life in prison.

Two page handwritten letter dated June 27, 2012 to his ex wife which Butch has titled at the top of the first page "OUR BIG DAY" and he goes on to dicuss their upcoming wedding. Hand signed at the close. Hand signed, Forever Yours, Love Always, Butch.
The prison stamped envelope is postmarked June 27 2012 and is  completely written in ink by Defeo. Unfortunately his bride to be ripped off the left side of the envelope leaving a portion of his address and his last name. So the front is technically hand signed, Defeo.
The back of the envelope is also completely written by Butch and hand signed, Ronnie Defeo.
