Patricia "Patty" Columbo who in 1976 with her married boyfriend, Frank DeLuca, murdered her family in Elk Grove, Illinois.  DeLuca and Columbo were both convicted of murdering her family.
Not long after Columbo arrived in prison, she again made headlines when it was reported that she assisted in organizing sex orgies inside the prison which involved guards and wardens a the women's prison in Dwight, Illinois. Many high ranking officials, including the warden was forced to resign due to the scandal.
