Myron Lance and Walter Kelbach were two aggressive homosexuals often referred to as Utah's first serial killers. Together they murdered 6 men during a 5 day spree in December of 1966. The pair had been sentenced to death and both had their sentenced commuted to life in prison when the death penalty was overturned (briefly) in June 1972. Lance died in August of 2010.
