Michael Woodmansee, a murderer and cannibal who as a teenager in 1975 murdered a five year old neighbor.  Woodmansee served 28 of a 40 year sentence and was released from prison.  Public outcry upon his release led to Woodmansee ordered to be evaluated by two psychiatrists who agreed that he fit the criteria to be involuntary committed to a psychiatric hospital.
