John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer convicted of 33 murders and executed by the state of Illinois on May 10, 1994. 
 
Original 16" x 20" oil painting titled 'Gacy the Man' done while awaiting execution on Illinois death row. Gacy has painted three self portraits; his mugshot at the time of his arrest, his alter ego Pogo the Clown and as he appeared as a death row inmate.
The back is hand titled, hand numbered, and hand signed, J.W. Gacy.
