Charles Edward Case known as the Midday Rapist for a violent crime spree of robbery and rape in 1978,
Case was later paroled and convicted of a 1993 double murder for which he was sentenced to death.
Correspondence from 2017 while Case was housed on the now defunct death row at San Quentin State Prison.
