Cesar Barone born Adolph James Rode was a convicted serial killer, sentenced to death for assaulting and murdering four women in Portland, Oregon. Barone died in prison on December 24, 2009.
In February 2026, the Washington County District Attorney’s Office’s Cold Case Unit announced that Barone had been linked to a 1992 cold case in Hillsboro, Oregon.
