Cesar Barone born Adolph James Rode was a serial killer convicted of four murders and sentenced to death. Barone died in prison on December 24, 2009.
 
In February 2026, the Washington County District Attorney’s Office’s Cold Case Unit announced that Barone had been linked to a 1992 cold case in Hillsboro, Oregon.
