Aileen Carol Wuornos was a female serial killer who was executed via lethal injection by the state of Florida on October 9, 2002. 

Four page handwritten letter date September 4, 1992. There are only a handful of letters written by Wuornos in blood red ink. She has drawn at least one smiley face on the first page of the letter and hand signed at the close Love, Lee.
Includes the original prison mailed envelope postmarked September 1993 and hand signed, Aileen Wuornos.
 
Wuornos letters penned in red are scarce and written early in her incarceration.
