Aileen Carol Wuornos was a female serial killer who was executed via lethal injection by the state of Florida on October 9, 2002.
 
4" x 4” unpublished and never before seen first generation color photograph from the original Polaroid at Florida State Prison the night before Wuornos was executed on October 8, 2002. The photo was initially kept by the prison because both Aileen and Dawn are pictured giving the camera their middle fingers. Shortly after her execution, the prison forwarded the photo with the remainder of Aileen's property to her longtime childhood friend Dawn Botkins.
