Herbert Baumeister - In 1988 Baumeister started the Save-A-Lot chain of stores. Frequenting gay bars in the Indianapolis area where he would pick men up, take them home and strangle the men to death. Authorities received a tip from a man who claims Baumeister tried to kill him. Herb Baumeister fled to Canada where he committed suicide. The remains of 11 men were found buried behind the home of Herbert Baumeister . Baumeister was suspected in at least 9 other murders.
